Our focus and expertise are positioned in the development of a sound strategy to drive all information initiatives. Some examples of the type of projects we carry out are below:

Accountancy firm. Developed and implemented a benchmarking study of 12 firms within the wider “professional services sector” to analyse how they were performing against each other in the area of information and knowledge management. Held a one day workshop to deliver the results to participants.

Educational charity. Two information services within the charity were operating separately. We reviewed the processes and offerings of both services, looking at products, services, technology and people. In light of changes in the education sector, we developed a business plan to bring the two information services together, maximise the skills sets within the teams, streamline the technology and software used and revamp the products offered in line with customer needs.

Law firm. After merger activity, the firm wanted to reappraise its information strategy. An information and knowledge audit was carried out via workshops and interviews to produce a 3 year information strategy. This helped the fee earners to embrace new technologies, develop the capability to share internal knowledge and improve general business processes and capitalise on their own expertise to generate more business opportunities.

Architects firm. A firm with 7 offices across the UK and a library in each. The organisation did not value the service it was receiving from its information and library services. Our remit was to understand how the libraries worked and the services they delivered and bring a new approach to information delivery. This encompassed redefining job roles and structures, automating many manual processes and           re-engineering the corporate intranet.
